Labia Major Lifting Recovery

Most patients will need to take a week off of work to allow themselves to properly recover from their labia majora lifting. There will be some swelling and discomfort. An ice pack can be applied to the area to help reduce swelling and pain. Lying down and elevating the area can also help to reduce swelling.

Patients will need to avoid having intercourse for around 6 weeks. Tampons should not be used for around four to six weeks after the procedure. Some swelling can last for around 6 months, but a majority of the swelling should subside after six weeks or so.
